Thanks to recent improvements in (already pretty good) Merb router, you now can build i18n plugin that fits your need just by combining regular expressions in routes, nested matches and “usual” named segments. These new specs prove that pretty much. And you can nest them to more than one level!

Thanks to Star Trader, Ben Nevile and Corey O’Daniel, Merb router just got better.

Now pretty advanced thing for Merb hacker wannabee: make nested routes match only when parent matches. Adding this without breaking existing API is a good challenge.
