Merb’s core classes extensions now live in a separate library.

Merb’s core classes extensions now live in a separate library: it’s lightweight, proven to be fast and will soon be merged with DataMapper’s extlib.

If you need a lightweight fast String extensions library, or Mash (Hash with indifferent access), check it out: it definitely can be used standalone.
